作为一个多学科和跨学科的研究领域，微纳系统充分利用了电子、光学、力学、化学、材料科学等基本原理和技术，从而实现生物医学、能源、环境和通信工程应用的高性能器件和系统。微纳系统技术是当今国际科学技术领域发展的重点学科之一，微纳系统及智能制造带动了科学技术的巨大进步甚至革命性的突破；发展微纳系统和先进制造产业是对国家战略性新兴产业发展最有力的推动。
先进生物医疗微纳系统技术聚焦纳米材料、纳米动力学、微纳智能制造、纳米光电子、纳米生物医药和环保等领域，以学科前沿热点为切入点，推进微纳系统技术及产业应用前沿化、引领技术革命带来产业革命。例如，在医疗领域，智能微纳系统通过经济实惠的微纳器件，推动了在线式连续监测和疾病检测方面的发展。结合新兴的人工智能和云技术，基于微纳系统技术的智能传感器成为现实。
Theme: Advanced Biomedical Micro-Nano System
As a multi- and interdisciplinary research field, micro- and nano systems make full use of electronics, optics, mechanics, chemistry, materials science, among others, to achieve high-performance devices and systems for biomedical, energy, environment and communication applications. Micro-nano system technology is one of the key disciplines in the field of international science and technology development. Micro-nano system and intelligent manufacturing have led to great progress and even revolutionary breakthrough in science and technology. The development of micro-nano system and advanced manufacturing is the most powerful promotion to a strategic new industry development.
Advanced biomedical micro-nano system technology focuses on nano-materials, nano-dynamics, micro-nano intelligent manufacturing, nano-optoelectronics, nano-biomedicaland environmental protection and other fields, regards the cutting edge of the discipline as the starting point to promote micro-nano system technology and industry applications, and leads the technological revolution to bring about industrial revolution. For instance, in the field of health care, intelligent micro- and nano systems have boosted developments in continuous off/on-line health monitoring and disease detection with affordable micro-nano devices. Combined with the emerging artificial intelligence and cloud technologies, smart transducers based on micro- and nano systems technology become realistic.
